Jiang's main research interests are Chinese teaching theory, pedagogy, teaching materials and teacher development research. Published more than 10 monographs and co-authored books, including Teaching Chinese in the Classroom (2nd edition), Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language, and Teaching Chinese Internationally: Teaching Methods and Techniques for Integrated Classes; edited 7 sets of teaching materials, including HSK Standard Course series and Experience Chinese Course series, more than 90 books; led the development of "Chinese Phonetic Point Query System" and "Chinese Textbook Grammar Point Query System".
"In addition, she has published more than 30 papers in "World Chinese Teaching", "Language Teaching and Research", etc. She has hosted more than 10 National Social Science Foundation projects and major projects of key bases of the Ministry of Education.
